Weekly links round-up: 25/09/2015

A huge synthesis of published phylogenies has been published by Hinchliff et al. The tree and underlying data are available to browse and download, and due to the open nature of the work, newly published data can be incorporated into the tree. rOpenSci have created an R package, roti, for interfacing with the Open Tree of Life API.

RStoolbox is a new R package written by Benjamin Leutner for importing, pre-processing, manipulating and displaying remote sensing data in R. The author of the package welcomes feedback and bug reports.
