  1. Hi,

Firstly great work with the new blog its been really useful!”

Can you post the following under courses please, its a bit long but thought it might save multiple posts as don’t want to seem like I’m spamming!

    Forthcoming Course/Workshop update from PR~statistics

Genetic data analysis using R – delivered by Dr. Thibaut Jombart – there are only a 5 places left for this course in August, it’s not too late to register – http://prstatistics.co.uk/introduction%20to%20genetic%20analysis%20in%20r/index.html

A repeat of the SIMMs course (Stable Isotope Mixing Models in R) – delivered by Dr. Andrew Jackson and Dr. Andrew Parnell has just been confirmed for January 2016 and is already filling quickly – http://prstatistics.co.uk/stable-isotope-analysis-in-R/index.html

Registration is also now open for the following two courses in October

Bioinformatics for Geneticists and Biologists – Dr. Nic Blouin and Dr. Ian Misner – http://prstatistics.co.uk/bioinformatics%20for%20biologists/index.html Applied Bayesian Modeling for Ecologists and Epidemiologists – Dr. Matt Denwood and Prof. Jason Matthiopoulos – http://prstatistics.co.uk/bayesian%20modelling%20in%20r/index.html

And November, which seems a long way off but will come round quickly

Spatial analysis of ecological data using R – Prof. Jason Matthiopoulos – http://prstatistics.co.uk/spatial-analysis-in-R/index.html Advancing in R – Dr. Luc Bussierre – http://prstatistics.co.uk/advancing-in-r/index.html

  2. Hi Oliver,

Thanks for your comment. These courses look really interesting and I know our training reps have PR Statistics on the list they are compiling of training resources. I don’t really want to make the links round up an advert for one organisation so I can’t really post the full text above, but I have mentioned PR Statistics and put a link to your comment into this week’s post.

Thanks for your feedback and input.

    • Hi Laura,

I completely understand, it’s a tough balance between giving enough frequent updates and spamming, this seems like the perfect solution.
The blogs have been really useful for multiplie reasons so far!
      Thanks again,
